Calm Springs Amusement Park Construction Log:Skip to Most Recent
Verison 1 - The original park was 2 feet deep by 6 feet long with a 25 inch tall background, it was located in my bedroom and even through one of the corners was mitlered; the layout was constantly getting bumped into which caused the train and coaster train to be knocked off their tracks. Sometimes the corners of the layout would rip holes in clothes, the park had to room.

Verison 2 - In the late Winter 2016, I decided to move the park into my workshop where I already had an N Scale layout that was originally going to be a just a normal model railroad with railroad buildings and a town. This layout measures 30 inches by 10 feet, had a shorter backdrop. I rerouted the track and removed all but one turnout, there was originally three sidings and a passing siding, these were removed to open up the layout for the amusement park. I also added the original amusement park's backdrop above the original back drop to accomdate the larger rides that I hope to add to the park someday.
